Safely share production logs
Parse, filter, and redact logs locally before you paste them into tickets, chat, or incident notes.
Step 1
Paste the raw logs into the workbench
Start in Log and Privacy Workbench so you can parse JSONL, JSON arrays, or plaintext logs in one place. Use its grouping and filtering controls to reduce repeated lines and focus on the specific request, service, or time window you need to share.
Open Log and Privacy Workbench →Step 2
Use built-in redaction before copying
The workbench already includes secret detection and redaction for exported summaries and filtered log sets. Turn that on before you copy or download anything so tokens and keys are masked in the shared output, not just in your head.
Redact inside the Workbench →Step 3
Use the standalone redactor when you only need cleanup
If you already have a short excerpt and do not need parsing or grouping, the Secret Detector & Redactor is a direct entry point. It is useful for a final pass before pasting logs into email, a bug tracker, or chat.
