JSCAD (@jscad/modeling) is a JavaScript library for constructive solid geometry (CSG) — the same code→3D-shape approach as OpenSCAD, but using plain JavaScript function calls instead of OpenSCAD's own DSL, and pure JS (no WebAssembly) rather than a compiled C++ engine.

Q: What can I build with it?

Primitives (cube, sphere, cylinder, torus, polyhedron, ...), boolean operations (union, subtract, intersect), transforms (translate, rotate, scale, mirror), and extrusions (linear, rotate, helical) from 2D outlines. Combine them to build parametric 3D models.

Q: How is my code executed?

Your code runs as a JavaScript function body in your own browser (no server round-trip) with the jscad modeling namespace passed in as an argument. It must end with a return statement producing a geometry.

Q: Can I export a model as STL?

Not yet from this playground — it's focused on rapid code→shape iteration. For STL export, see the OpenSCAD Playground, which supports STL/SVG export.

You have jscad available, exposing the @jscad/modeling namespace (jscad.primitives, jscad.booleans, jscad.transforms, jscad.extrusions, ...). End your code with a return of a geom3 (or an array of geom3).
