Does the order I select templates in change the output?

No. Templates are always emitted in a fixed order in the generated file, and duplicate patterns across templates are only kept once — so the exact same set of selections always produces the exact same .gitignore, no matter the order you clicked them in.

Can I combine multiple languages and frameworks?

Yes — select as many templates as you need (e.g. Node.js + Next.js + VS Code + macOS) and they'll be merged into one file with clearly labeled sections.
