OpenTelemetry

Vendor-neutral APIs, SDKs, and Collector for traces, metrics, and logs

OpenTelemetry is a CNCF project that provides language SDKs, automatic instrumentation, and the OpenTelemetry Collector for generating and exporting traces, metrics, and logs. Data is sent over the OTLP protocol to any compatible backend, so instrumentation is not tied to one vendor.

Key features

  • SDKs for many languages
